What a year it's been for the BeLikeCJ Foundation! We're bursting with pride and gratitude as we reflect on a year filled with impactful programs, generous scholarships, a brand-new book and curriculum, and countless heartwarming events that have touched the lives of so many children, young people, and families.

From ongoing programming that empowers young minds to scholarships that open doors to brighter futures, and the release of CJ's inspiring book and curriculum, 2024 has been a year of growth, connection, and positive change.
But there's one incredibly special event that happened so late in the year, it didn't quite make it into the newsletter – and we just have to share it with you!
A Magical Christmas at Harmony Leadership Academy
Picture this: the joy of Christmas morning radiating from the faces of over 300 children. That's exactly what we experienced at the BeLikeCJ Christmas Toy Giveaway at Harmony Leadership Academy. This event was, simply put, magical.
We were able to bring the spirit of the season to a deserving group of students at a disadvantaged school, ensuring their Christmas was filled with joy and wonder. This is CJ's heart – giving back and making a difference – and we know he was smiling down as each child's face lit up upon receiving their gifts.
This heartwarming event wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to Academy, Dollar General, and Sparklight for their generous contributions. We were also honored to have the Superintendent join us and share a few inspiring words. The excitement reached a fever pitch when the fire department arrived with their trucks, helping us distribute the gifts!
The energy was electric thanks to the amazing support from Arkansas High School: the cheerleaders, dance team, and football team all came out to cheer on the students and help distribute gifts. We even invited parents and families to share in this special occasion. And a huge thank you to the dedicated teachers and staff at Harmony Leadership Academy, who went above and beyond decorating, wrapping gifts, and helping with the distribution.
This event perfectly embodies the mission of the BeLikeCJ Foundation: to impact and help those in need. It's exactly who CJ was – always serving and giving back. This Christmas giveaway was truly magical, a testament to the power of community and the spirit of giving. (See photos below!)
