The BeLikeCJ Foundation is proud to bring the BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA Tournament Series to the Ark-La-Tex—creating meaningful opportunities for young athletes to compete, grow, build confidence, and represent the organizations that mean the most to them.

This is more than basketball.
β
It is an opportunity for boys and girls to represent their school, church, Parks & Recreation program, AAU organization, independent team, or community organization while developing the values that matter most: respect, teamwork, humility, leadership, sportsmanship, and kindness.

And because we know families and organizations have busy schedules, our tournament model gives teams flexibility without requiring a full-season commitment.

Each tournament is a separate competitive event, allowing organizations to participate when it fits their schedule. Whether your team competes once or returns throughout the season, every tournament provides an opportunity to compete, connect, and make a difference.

β€οΈ More Than a Championship — It’s an IMPACT
βOne of the things that makes the BeLikeCJ Tournament Series different is our BeLikeCJ Impact Cup.
While teams compete for the championship on the court, organizations also have an opportunity to compete for something that extends beyond the scoreboard.

Throughout the tournament season, organizations can earn Impact Cup points based on:

β€οΈ Sportsmanship & Character
β Leadership & Positive Representation
To keep the competition fair for organizations that cannot attend every tournament, a team’s top three tournament results will count toward the final Impact Cup standings.

π The BeLikeCJ Impact Cup Award
At the final Championship Invitational, the organization that earns the Impact Cup will receive a donation from the BeLikeCJ Foundation to support its youth programs and needs.
The funds can help organizations provide things such as:

Every tournament will still have its own competitive championship.
Teams will compete within their divisions for:

Then, throughout the season, organizations can work toward the BeLikeCJ Impact Cup.

π One Jersey. Every Tournament.
To make participation simple for families and organizations, players receive an official BeLikeCJ Jr. NBA/WNBA reversible jersey.
Players can wear it, reuse it, and represent their organization at each tournament they attend.
Parents register their child directly through BeLikeCJ.org, select the organization/team their child will represent, choose their division, and complete payment online.

No money collection. No paperwork for organizations.
Schools, churches, Parks & Recreation programs, AAU organizations, and coaches can simply share the opportunity with their families and encourage their athletes to participate.

Players may represent one organization/team throughout the tournament series.
This allows organizations to build their own identity within the BeLikeCJ tournament experience while maintaining a fair and competitive environment.
